Though not the closest golf course to Chiang Mai's city center—that title belongs to the Lanna Golf Club—the Mae Jo Golf Club is conveniently located nevertheless. Indeed, just a 20-minute drive or cab ride from the city, Mae Jo Golf Club is a popular destination for both locals and tourists staying in Chiang Mai.

The Mae Jo Golf Club website notes that all 18 holes of the course were designed to test golfers on a different side of their game.
